The ambition of the exhibition is to briefly demonstrate the presenceof fashion in the works of artists working in the breakthrough years of the 19th and 20th centuries and to present it in the context of the cultural and social background. The main theme of the exhibition is to understand the importance of taste and status of the aristocracy and bourgeoisie of that time, manifested by the clothing. Fashion trends of cosmopolitanism and bohemianism can be observed in the works of artists such as ako Elemír Halász-Hradil, Ernest Rákosi, Ákos Aranyossy, Maximilián Kurth, Július Éder, Konštantín Kövári-Kačmarik, Július Rudnay, Andrej Bača, Koloman Hažlinský, Ľudovít Čordák, Emil Alexay-Olexák, Leopold Horovitz, Július Török, István Csók, Dominik Skutezky, etc.
